Job Overview:

Leads the development of cost-effective information technology solutions by creating new, and modifying existing, software applications. Analyzes complex systems requirements, existing business processes, and information systems. Codes, tests, and debugs documents, and implements software applications. Undertakes complex projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge. Coordinates with users to determine requirements that are more complex.

The Mobile Application Developer will be part of the team that would architect Enterprise Mobility platform and will help design and develop mobile applications for the enterprise. Applicants must be well versed on Android and/or iOS SDKs, device APIs and development tools. Applicant will work collaboratively with other team members to develop reliable and scalable mobile applications.

– Bachelor’s degree and eight years related work experience or twelve years related work experience post high school
– 1-2 years systems development experience
– 1-2 years coding experience
– 1-2 years software application experience
• 1-2+ years of mobile development experience on Android and iOS platforms
• Extensive knowledge of Android SDK, iOS, Device APIs
• Expertise in development and implementing mobile applications with standard UI components, integrating apps to backend over XML, REST, SOAP and JSON
• Knowledge of Android UI frameworks.
• Good understanding of HTML5, Javascript, CSS, XHTML and other web technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in object oriented design and development, data structures, and algorithms.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and debugging skills.
Desired
• Familiarity working in Agile development environment.
